Acquisition of Shares by the Employee Benefit Trust

The Company announces that Computershare Trustees (Jersey) Limited acquired 1,173,624 of the Company's ordinary 5 pence shares on 25 September 2020 pursuant to the Company's 24 for 1 rights issue at 15 pence per New Ordinary Share, as announced on 6 August 2020.

These shares will be settled to Computershare Trustees (Jersey) Limited being the trustees of the Hammerson Employee Share Ownership Plan. The shares will be used to satisfy the exercise and release of options and awards granted to employees under the Company's various employee share plans.
