TAKEOVERS PANEL

Golden West Resources Limited (Golden West) advises that the Takeovers Panel has declined to make a declaration of unacceptable circumstances in relation to two applications lodged by the Company and shareholder Falak Holding LLC (Golden West Limited 03 and Golden West Limited 04 respectively).
These applications sought to overturn Falak Holding’s unintended acceptance of the takeover offer from Fairstar Resources Limited. Golden West has considered the decision and advises it intends to seek a formal review of the Panel’s finding.
Golden West will provide further information on this matter in due course.
