Appointment of Group Chief Financial Officer

GWA Group Limited (GWA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Calin Scott as Group Chief Financial Officer. Calin will commence with GWA in early 2022 following the resignation of Patrick Gibson announced on 30 November 2021.

Calin is an experienced finance executive with a history of working in the FMCG, mining and professional services sectors with ASX and NASDAQ listed companies across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific.

His most recent role was that of Tetra Tech Asia Pacific CFO with previous group finance roles at Coffey International Limited and Metcash Limited, as well as a Principal at BDO, and Chief Financial Officer of Tri Origin Minerals Limited.

GWA Managing Director and CEO, Urs Meyerhans, said: “We are delighted to welcome an executive with Calin’s technical skills and diverse experiences. Having worked with Calin previously, I have a high level of confidence in his skills and abilities and believe he will be a valuable addition to the team.”

Calin and Patrick will work together to finalise the first half results to 31 December 2021 and develop a plan for the CFO transition.
