Grupo Simec, S.A.B. de C.V. (the “Company”) today filed an amendment to its Annual Report on Form 20-F for the year ended December 31, 2024 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission at www.sec.gov.

The amendment includes revised disclosures under Item 15 (“Controls and Procedures”) to provide separate conclusions by the Company’s principal executive officer and principal financial officer regarding the effectiveness of (i) disclosure controls and procedures and (ii) internal control over financial reporting, in accordance with SEC requirements. No changes were made to the Company’s audited financial statements or other sections of the original Form 20-F.

The amended Form 20-F is also available on the investor relations section of the Company’s website at https://gsimec.com.mx/sec-filings.php.
