DOM Security acquires Tapkey, an expert in mobile credentials and access control cloud solutions
DOM Security, member of SFPI Group, confirms the finalization of the acquisition via its German subsidiaries DOM Sicherheitstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, of 60% of the shares of the Austrian company Tapkey GmbH.
Founded in 2043 by Markus Minchmayr, Gregor Zehetner and Jochen Schurich, the company, based in Vienna is today known as an expert for mobile credentials and cloud-based access control solutions for building and mobility market. The company employs 10 people and achieved in 2021 a turnover closed to 1M€ with main activity of development and support for integration of its solutions for their customer. The co-founders Markus Minchmayr and Gregor Zehetner will remain minor shareholders and have been appointed as Managing Director of the company.
The transaction is financed by its German subsidiary's own funds. For fiscal year 2022, the contribution of the acquisition to the Group's revenues is expected to be around 250K€.
This acquisition strengthens DOM Security's technical expertise within the strategic field of mobile credentials and cloud-based access control solutions, fast growing demand in Europe.
