Resignation of Director

The Board of Greggs plc announces that Allison Kirkby has decided to step down from the Board at the close of the AGM which is to be held on 21 May 2019. Allison has recently been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at TDC in Denmark, and as a non-executive director of BT Group.

Speaking of her decision, Ian Durant, Chairman, said "In her six-year tenure, Allison has made a superb, independent and objective contribution to the business changes that have taken place. We will all miss her, but wish her every continued success in her new roles".

A search for a replacement non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee has already commenced.
