– Professional biography of Ms Els Degroote

Ms Els Degroote (°1976) holds a Master of Commercial Engineer, and an MBA Financial Management and an MBA High Potential Banking & Insurance from the Vlerick Business School. Between 2000 and 2016, she worked at KBC Securities, where she was Executive Director Corporate Finance until 2012, in which position she led a deal team on several and large transactions. In 2012 she became Head of Corporate Finance of KBC Securities. In the period 2016 until March 2022, she was M&A Partner in Strategy & Transactions, and Brussels Regional Managing Partner at EY. – Professionele biografie van mevr. Els Degroote

Mevr. Els Degroote (°1976) behaalde een Master Handelsingenieur, en heeft een MBA in Financial Management en een MBA in High Potential Banking & Insurance van de Vlerick Business School. Tussen 2000 en 2016 was zij werkzaam bij KBC Securities, als Executive Director Corporate Finance tot 2012, in welke functie zij een deal team leidde in diverse en grote transacties. In 2012 werd zij Head of Corporate Finance van KBC Securities. In de periode van 2016 tot maart 2022 was zij M&A Partner in Strategy & Transactions, en Brussels Regional Managing Partner bij EY. Zij was verantwoordelijk voor M&A op de Belgische

focus on (international) private equity firms and larger corporates. In this function, she also advised Greenyard on several projects. As from April 2022 she is appointed Investment Manager at Alychlo NV.

Mr. Gert Bervoets (°1970) holds a Master of Commercial Engineer. Between 1994 and 2002, he worked at Nestlé as Group Product Manager. In 2002 he started at H. Essers as General Manager Warehousing. H. Essers is a Belgian logistics organization, providing integrated solutions for sustainable transport and logistics across Europe, and acting as a long-term supply chain partner for clients in various industries. He is CEO of H. Essers since March 2013.

Dhr. Gert Bervoets (°1970) behaalde een Master Handelsingenieur. Tussen 1994 en 2002 was hij werkzaam bij Nestlé als Group Product Manager. In 2002 startte hij bij H. Essers als General Manager Warehousing. H. Essers is een Belgische logistieke organisatie, die geïntegreerde oplossingen biedt voor duurzaam transport en logistiek in Europa, en optreedt als partner op lange termijn in de toeleveringsketen voor klanten uit verschillende sectoren. Sinds maart 2013 is hij CEO van H. Essers.
