ANNOUNCEMENT

Under the terms and for the purposes of Article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April, Greenvolt – Energias Renováveis, S.A. ("Greenvolt" or "Company") informs that the Company's Board of Directors has been informed of the indictment order against Mr. João Manso Neto issued by the Public Prosecution Service (Ministério Público). The Board took note that the indictment relates to the exercise of functions within the EDP Group several years before Mr. João Manso Neto's assumed any role at Greenvolt.

Based on the information received, the ongoing discussions with Mr. João Manso Neto, and the analysis done to date, the Board decided that there is no change related to Mr. João Manso Neto's role as CEO of Greenvolt. The Board will continue to monitor the evolution of the process.
