Peacock Foods Acquisition - U.S. Antitrust Clearance

On 28 November 2016, Greencore received notice from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission that early termination has been granted, effective immediately, of the applicable waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 ("HSR Act") for Greencore's pending acquisition of Peacock Foods as announced on 14 November 2016.

The early termination of the waiting period under the HSR Act satisfies one of the conditions to the closing of the transaction, which remains subject to other customary closing conditions.
