DIRECTORATE CHANGE

The Board of Greencore Group plc ('the Company') announces that Di Walker will step down as Chief Operating Officer and as a Director of the Company on 24 May 2013.

Over the last eighteen months, the Company has seen significant change with the successful integration of Uniq and International Cuisine in the UK, the transformation of its business in the US and the establishment of a broader executive management team, and Di has played an instrumental role in this change.  Following on from this announcement, Di's responsibilities will be reallocated across the wider leadership team and the role of Chief Operating Officer will not be replaced.  Di will remain with the Company until the end of its financial year (September 2013) in order to ensure a seamless transition to this new management structure.

Patrick Coveney, CEO of Greencore, said: "Di has made an enormous contribution to the Company over many years.  Her passion, resilience, tight cost focus and deep food industry experience have all been invaluable and we wish Di the best for her future endeavours".
