Changes to the Board of Lithex Resources

Lithex Resources Limited (ASX: LTX) wishes to advise of further changes to the Board as part of the Company’s renewal process which commenced on 15 April 2013. Mr Malcolm Carson and Mr Howard Dawson have both resigned from the Board and Mr Carson has also resigned from his Executive role in the Company. Pursuant to this, Mr David Williams and Mr Stuart House have been appointed as new Directors of Lithex, with Mr Williams appointed to the Independent Chairman role. These changes are effective immediately.

Mr John Conidi remains as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.

The Company wishes to thank both Mr Carson and Mr Dawson for their work in progressing the Company to its current stage and assisting with the Board renewal process.

About Mr David Williams:

Mr David Williams has over 15 years of experience in the energy and resource industry. He has held Managing Director positions in a number of ASX-listed and private companies. Most recently, David was the Managing Director of Larus Energy Ltd and prior to that, President and Director of Heathgate Resources Pty Ltd – the owner/operator of the Beverley uranium mine in South Australia. In his career, he has also held Managing Director positions in Drillsearch Energy Ltd, Great Artesian Oil & Gas Ltd and the Epic Energy group, as well as Principal of The Walton Group. David is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and a member of the NSW Executive of PESA.

About Mr Stuart House:

Mr Stuart House is a lawyer by profession. He worked for several boutique resource and corporate law firms and in sole practice, before joining Kings Park Corporate Lawyers as a founding Principal. He has extensive experience and exposure to the resources industry, including work associated a wide range of exploration and mining contracts and in native title negotiations. Prior to a legal career, Stuart worked in the Department of Mines and Petroleum, was a land manager with a large multinational gold mining company and also established his own mining tenement management business. He has also held executive positions with Alchemy Resources Ltd and Auvex Resources Ltd, and is an active member of the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) Mining Legislation Committee and Aboriginal Affairs Committee.

Lithex Resources Limited is an exploration company now focused on unlocking the resource potential of Australia’s graphite-rich provinces. The Company shifted its focus and strategy in December 2012 when it successfully acquired Far North Minerals Pty Ltd. The transaction expanded the Company’s project portfolio, bringing on-board a tenement package covering 533km2 of land in Australian regions considered highly prospective for graphite.

The Company is now focused on the Munglinup Graphite Project in far south WA and the Plumbago Graphite Project in northern NSW.
