Perth Western Australia , The Board of Directors of Lithex Resources Limited (ASX:LTX) is pleased to advise Mr. Yankel Koncepolski has been appointed to the Board as Non-Executive Director. This appointment is effective as of today, 14 September 2011.
Mr. Koncepolski has 31 years’ experience in marketing, corporate management and investment management.
In the past 11 years, Mr. Koncepolski’s main focus has been coordinating investment syndicates entering into early stage mining exploration and development projects, successfully participating in a range of corporate transactions.
Mr. Koncepolski retains a strong network of high net worth individuals in Melbourne, Sydney, Switzerland and New York, and has successfully facilitated a range of strategic investments in emerging mining companies. He has developed a strong network amongst CEO’s of ASX listed mining companies, who are focused on the iron ore, coal, gold, copper and lithium sectors.
Mr. Koncepolski’s initial interest in mining began in 1986, with an investment in Geoff Louden’s fledgling Nuigini Mining Ltd, which later became known as Lihir Gold.
Prior to his experience in the investment and mining sectors, he was the founder and principal of a number of telecommunication companies both in Australia and Europe.
Mr. Koncepolski has utilized his marketing expertise to make significant contributions to social welfare, being the co-founder of the Jewish House Crisis Centre in Bondi. He served on its board as treasurer in the mid to late 1980’s until leaving for overseas in 1991.
