Key focus on the Munglinup Project

  • Acquired core project area from Far North Minerals Pty Ltd in December 2012 (northern granted tenement & application areas subsequently added by Lithex).

  • Located in far south WA, approx. 100 km west of Esperance

  • Prime real estate:

  • Neighbours Silver Lake Resources’ Great Southern Project – long-term site of copper-gold mining, plus prospective for base metals.

Along strike of the Halbert’s Main Munglinup Deposit (1.47 Mt @ 18.2% fixed carbon), held by Graphite Australia Pty Ltd.

  • Covers 579 km[2] over seven tenements:

  • Four granted Exploration Licences (ELs).

  • Three ELs under application (ELAs), including E74/538 – contains Young River Graphite Deposit, prospective for graphite, nickel sulphide & vermiculite mineralisation, and hosts a small nickel laterite deposit (Boanaernup).

  • Other ELAs contain strike extension to Lake Johnson Greenstone belt, a known nickel province.

  • No systematic graphite, nickel or copper exploration work done on most Munglinup tenements with the exception of E74/544 (under application).

New results at Munglinup Project

  • Nickel and copper unexpectedly identified during geological logging of diamond core, which was specifically drilled targeting graphite.

  • Assays confirmed field observations. Broad zones anomalous in copper, nickel and platinum group elements (PGEs).

  • Potentially represents the distal expression of a nickel sulphide deposit. (Independent Review – Jon Hronsky)

  • Most significant result: 6.3m @ 1055 ppm Ni; 683 ppm Cu; 5241 ppm Zn; and 476 ppm Co in MCDD001, from

44.0 m to 50.3 m.

May represent an alternative, Broken Hill style target, unknown to date in this area.

March 2013 VTEM Survey

  • Twenty two strong, high priority electromagnetic conductors have been defined during detailed modeling and interpretation of VTEM data by geophysical consultants, Core Geophysics.

  • The targets generated are for nickel sulphide, graphite, and both nickel sulphide and graphite.

  • Prospectivity of these targets further enhanced by Munglinup Central results and regional geological review.

  • Currently negotiating land access to allow drill testing in Q1, 2014.

Graphite results at Munglinup

==> picture [304 x 204] intentionally omitted <==

  • Four diamond drill holes, totalling 467.7 m, completed on Munglinup Central Tenement (E74/518).

  • Designed to test a strong electromagnetic (EM) anomaly.

  • Geological logging undertaken and 90 core samples assayed for total graphitic carbon (TGC), sulphur & total carbon.

  • Most significant intersection in hole MCDD004:

  • 1.9 m @ 34.9% TGC.

Drill hole From (m) To (m) Interval (m) TGC (%)
MCDD004 48.15 48.5 0.35 7.05
MCDD004 48.9 50.4 1.5 15.9
MCDD004 51.1 53.0 1.9 34.9
MCDD004 57.9 58.9 1.0 17.2

Drill Hole Locations, depths and directions

  • Results are encouraging, but are not indicative

of a significant graphite resource.

  • Next steps:

  • Downhole EM surveys on MCDD003 and MCDD004.

  • Depending on results, possible further drilling.

Munglinup potential enhanced by independent analysis

  • Dr Jon Hronsky of Western Mining Services has reviewed the nickel sulphide potential and independently verified prospectivity.

  • Widespread hydrothermal veining and alteration at Munglinup Central, consistent with the distal expression of a nickel sulphide deposit.

  • Encouraging conceptual model for primary nickel sulphide mineralisation.

  • Implications for the broader Munglinup region.

  • Major conclusion: “In summary, it is reasonable to consider the Munglinup region to represent an effectively totally unexplored strike extension to a known nickel sulphide mineralised province.”

E74/538 - Young River

  • Ground previously held by Anglogold Ashanti – Gold focussed.

  • Highly prospective for nickel sulphide and graphite mineralisation.

  • Contains Young River graphite and vermiculite occurrences, and the Boanaernup nickel laterite occurrence, drilled in 1970.

  • VTEM survey planned for December, 2013

  • no EM data exists , despite the presence

  • of prospective ultramafic rocks and a nickel laterite occurrence.

  • Understanding of targeting for nickel sulphide deposits has developed since 1970 – opportunity for Lithex.

  • Currently addressing Native Title

agreement requirements to allow grant of

tenement.

Investigating the Nickel and Copper potential at Munglinup

Next steps:

  • Down Hole Electromagnetic (DHEM) survey on Munglinup Central holes.

  • Drilling programs to test existing strong, high priority nickel targets.

  • New VTEM surveys over Young River and Munglinup South.

  • Assessment of new EL areas.

EM survey coverage - Munglinup

9

Lithex Resources Limited www.lithex.com.au

Lake Tay Project (E74/544 and E74/545)

  • Located 50-100 km north of Munglinup.

  • Two ELs applied for in October 2013, covering approximately 173 km[2] .

  • Extension of Lake Johnson Greenstone Belt which hosts Maggie Hays and Emily Ann nickel deposits.

  • Large historical data sets covering northern part of E74/544. (Mount Burgess Gold Mining Co.)

  • Nickel results up to 27 m @ 2,170 ppm and gold results up to 1 m @ 2.97 g/t in historical RAB and RC drilling.

  • New EM anomalies generated by most recent explorer remain untested.

  • Database compilation and exploration plans being generated in anticipation of grant in 2014.

Furniss East Project

  • Currently being investigated by the Company for the potential for graphite and Nova style nickel-copper deposits.

  • Located near the margin of the Yilgarn Craton, in the Albany-Fraser mobile belt.

  • Adjacent to the Rocky Gully nickel copper prospect, recently optioned by PLD Corporation Limited from Heron Resources Limited.

  • Planned activities for the coming year include an airborne EM survey and geochemical sampling, and potentially drill testing if the results of these activities are promising.

Lithex Resources Limited www.lithex.com.au

Other Projects

  • Plumbago graphite project in northern NSW yielded encouraging surface samples up to 23% Total Graphitic Carbon.

  • Airborne EM survey under consideration for 2014.

  • All other projects in the process of being relinquished, with the exception of the two ELs at Pilgangoora and Shaw River, considered prosepctive for pegmatite hosted lithium, tin, tantalum and rare earth elements.

  • Evaluation of new, more advanced development projects is continuing, to compliment the Company’s exciting greenfield exploration portfolio.
