Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Great Southern Mining Limited (ASX: GSN or the “Company”) is pleased to advise the appointment of Mr Matthew Blake as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.

Mr Blake has 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry and with companies listed on the ASX. He joined DJ Carmichael Pty Limited in 1999 as an Investment Adviser, later becoming an Executive Director of the company until the sale of the business to Shaw and Partners Limited in 2019. Mr Blake has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Mr Blake is currently Executive Director of Victory Mines Limited (ASX: VIC) and Non-Executive Director of Crowd Media Holdings Limited (ASX: CM8).

Commenting on the appointment, the Company’s Executive Chairman, John Terpu said:

“We are delighted to welcome Matthew to the Board of Great Southern Mining. His extensive and wideranging financial experience will complement the Board and he will be a valuable addition to the team, contributing commercial acumen and identification of further transactional opportunities.”
