Sub: Re-appointment of Mr. Dilip Gaur as the Managing Director of the Company

Pursuant to the provisions of Companies Act, 2013 and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 ('Listing Regulations'), the Board of Directors of Grasim Industries Limited ('the Company') at its meeting held today i.e. 12th February 2021, inter-alia, approved the re-appointment of Mr. Dilip Gaur as the Managing Director of the Company for a period of one year with effect from 1st April 2021, subject to the approval of the members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company.

We also confirm that Mr. Dilip Gaur is not debarred from holding the office of director pursuant to any SEBI order or any such authority.

		Prior to his current assignment,he has done stintswithin Aditya Birla Group with UltraTech Cement Ltd.as Deputy Managing Director & Chief ManufacturingOfficer, with Hindalco as Head of Global CopperBusiness, with Birla Carbon as Managing Director of theEgyptian business and as President & Country Head ofGroup's Edible Oil & Oleo Chemicals business inMalaysia/Philippines.
		Mr. Gaur joined Aditya Birla Group in 2004 afterspending 24 years at Hindustan Unilever Ltd in Foods,HPC & Specialty Chemicals Business. He was a memberof the Foods Management Committee.
		Mr. Gaur is a Chemical Engineer by training and hasundergoneseveralNational&InternationalprogrammesinManagement&LeadershipDevelopment including AMP at Harvard. He has spentbest part of his professional career in managingtransformational changes and turning around fledglingbusinesses across geographies. He enjoys working in amulti-cultural global business environment, is a firmbeliever in the Power of 'Teams' and extremelypassionate about sustainability, climate control andcircular economy agenda.
