TRANCHE ONE OF NEW SHARE ISSUE

As announced to ASX on 10 October 2003, the Company has arranged a placement of a maximum of 4.285.715 fully paid ordinary shares at an issue price of \$0.35 each with a one for one free attaching unlisted option (exercisable at 50 cents each on or before 28 November 2006), to The Golden Arrow Fund II to raise \$1.5 million before expenses of the issue. The placement consists of two tranches, with Tranche One raising \$0.5 million and Tranche Two raising up to an additional \$1.0 million and subject to the completion of satisfactory due diligence investigations by The Golden Arrow Fund II. The issue is being handled by Paterson Ord Minnett Limited, the lead manager appointed to the issue by Grange.

Grange is pleased to advise that settlement of Tranche One of the placement has been completed. Pursuant to settlement of Tranche One, Grange has today issued 1,428,572 fully paid ordinary shares and 1,428,572 free attaching unlisted option to The Golden Arrow Fund II.

An Appendix 3B is attached advising of the application to ASX for quotation of these additional securities.

Tranche Two which involves the issue of a maximum of 2,857,143 fully paid ordinary shares and 2,857,143 free attaching unlisted options is due for settlement on or before 28 November 2003.
