APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The directors of Grange Resources Limited (“ Grange ” or “ the Company ”) are pleased to announce the appointment of Douglas Stewart, BSc, FAusIMM, FAIG, as a non-executive Director of the Company.

Mr Stewart has over 37 years experience in the mining industry in a variety of geological and engineering roles. His experience covers a wide range of commodities. Mr Stewart has had management responsibilities on mining operations in Africa, Canada and New Zealand in both open pit and underground mines.

Mr Stewart was formerly an Associate Director of N M Rothschild & Sons (Australia) performing technical due diligence and valuations for potential investments for Rothschild Golden Arrow Fund. Mr Stewart was most recently the Managing Director of Territory Resources Limited until July 2007.

Grange Chairman Anthony Bohnenn said Mr Stewart was a valuable addition to the Board and that other Board appointments were being considered shortly.

“Doug brings more than 37 years industry experience including recent exposure to developing a new iron ore mining operation in northern Australia,” he said.

“His knowledge will enhance the Board’s capability as it continues development of the Southdown Magnetite and the Kemaman Pellet Plant Project.”
