Gram Car Carriers signs six-year time charter for vessel under commercial
management
Oslo, 10 March 2022: Gram Car Carriers ASA ("GCC") pleased to announce that the
company, as commercial manager on behalf of the owner Arabian Sea AS, has fixed
the vessel Arabian Sea (5,000 CEU) on a six-year charter to a major Asian
operator.
Georg A. Whist, the CEO of GCC, commented: "The contract confirms the strong
market fundamentals which provides highly attractive returns for the vessel's
owners with long-term visibility."
The Arabian Sea is one of four vessels commercially managed by the company. GCC
holds 1% ownership interest in the vessel. Total contract value is USD 71.2
million plus scrubber premium.
