Gram Car Carriers ASA restricts Red Sea passage

Oslo, 21 December 2023: Gram Car Carriers ASA ("GCC"), the world's third-largest

car carrier tonnage provider, prioritises the safety of its crew, cargo and

vessels.

The Company has notified charterers that its vessels are restricted from passing

through the Red Sea for the time being. This is due to the increased risk levels

in the area as reflected in the Norwegian Maritime Authority raising the

security level in the southern part of the Red Sea to the highest level.

GCC monitors the situation closely and will review and update this policy when

appropriate based on recommendations from relevant authorities.
