Purchase of Grainger plc shares

Computershare Trustees (Jersey) Limited as trustees of the Grainger plc Employee Share Trust - Trust Two ("EBT") acquired 1,400,000 Grainger plc 5p ordinary shares at a price of 175.34p per share on 30 September 2013.

These shares are being held by the EBT to satisfy share awards arising under Grainger plc's employee share schemes and bring the EBT's total holding to 5,097,428 shares which represent 1.22% of the issued share capital.
