Appointment of Director of Strategy and Corporate Finance

Grainger plc, the UK's largest listed residential landlord, today announces that it has appointed David Prescott as Director of Strategy and Corporate Finance.

David will join Grainger's Executive Committee and will work closely with CEO Helen Gordon on the company's strategy. He will oversee Grainger's commercial finance team, reporting into Vanessa Simms, CFO.

David has over 10 years of real estate experience gained in both sell-side, buy-side and advisory roles. He joins from Kempen the Dutch investment bank, having previously worked as a research analyst at Barclays bank and Aviva Investors. David is a chartered accountant (ACA).

David's appointment is a testament to Grainger's ambitious growth plans in the UK private rented sector.

David is expected to join Grainger in late August 2018.
