In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11, Grainger plc announces that Belinda Richards has given notice to the Company that having completed six years of service as a director in April 2017, she will not be seeking re-election as a non-executive director at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM).  Belinda will therefore step down from the Board at the AGM on 7 February 2018.  

Mark Clare, Chairman, commented:

"During her time at Grainger, Belinda has chaired the Audit, Risk and Remuneration Committees as well as being the Company's Senior Independent Director. Her significant contribution will be missed and on behalf of the Board I would like to thank Belinda for her service over the past six years and wish her well for the future."
