Wheat port exemptions: Final determination on Fisherman Islands (Brisbane)

GrainCorp has been notified by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) of its final determination to exempt GrainCorp’s Fisherman Islands (Brisbane) grain export terminal in Queensland, under the Port Terminal Access (Bulk Wheat) Code of Conduct (the “Code”). This confirms the draft determination advised on 27 August 2015.

As previously advised, this exemption means GrainCorp’s Fisherman Islands terminal is subject to a lower level of regulation (Parts 1 and 2 of the Code only).
