FY17 EARNINGS UPDATE

GR Engineering Services Limited (ASX:GNG) ( GR Engineering or Company ) wishes to announce a revision to its expected earnings for the financial year ending 30 June 2017 (FY17).

Due to departures from anticipated progress claim timing on recently awarded projects, revenue which was expected to materialise in FY17 has been deferred into FY18. As a result, the Company expects revenue for FY17 to be in the range $215.0 million to $220.0 million (FY16 $255.3 million). FY17 EBITDA is now expected to be in the range of $16.0 million to $17.0 million (FY16 $26.1 million).

GR Engineering Managing Director, Geoff Jones commented that:

“ While FY17 financial results have been impacted by the deferment of revenue, we are pleased that work on a number of significant projects is now well underway. Based upon engineering design and construction work on hand, growing contributions from Upstream Production Solutions and near term opportunities for additional work, we now expect revenue in FY18 to be in the range of $300 million to $330 million.”

The Company intends to release audited FY17 financial results by 24 August 2017.

GR Engineering Services Limited (ASX:GNG) is an ASX listed engineering design and construction contractor specialising in fixed price engineering design and construction services to the resources and mineral processing industry.
