Jerzy Kalinowski is graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology (Ph. D. in Computer Engineering and M. Sc. degree in Telecommunications), and from University of Rochester, USA (M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering), He also completed Management Development Program at IMD in Lausanne. Participated in a number of advanced training programs in management and business performance improvement, organized internationally by KPMG and PWC.

Jerzy Kalinowski specializes on the management, business strategies, value building, digital transformation, and application of digital technologies, innovation, and startups.

Currently he is senior adviser in Priscus Finance, French company providing advisory services in M&A transactions. He is also the member of the Supervisory Board of Demoboost. He worked for several years in KPMG in Poland when he directed strategic and operational consulting projects for clients in Poland and other countries. He had at KPMG the role of the Head of Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sector in Central & Eastern Europe. Earlier, Jerzy was CEO of AMG.net SA (currently Atos Polska). He was also founder and CEO of i-start.pl, one of the first companies investing in digital startups in Poland.

At the end of XX center he was the Chairman o the Supervisory Board at Optimus SA, the blue chip company from the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He was also the member of Supervisory Boards in a number of companies from Optimus Group including Optimus Lockheed Martin ITG SA, onet.pl SA, Optimus Real Estate SA, and PAGI SA.

Jerzy Kalinowski was the founder and first CEO of Price Waterhouse Business Information Technologies, consulting firm established in the joint venture with Price Waterhouse. Later, he worked as the director in the Management Consulting of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He was also co-founder and the member of the Managing Board in Polish Telephones Foundation. In addition, he was in the Supervisory Board of Telefony Opalenickie, one of the first Polish independent telco operators. He was also an adviser in ZWUT (currently Siemens Polska), large company manufacturing telco equipment.

After graduation, Jerzy Kalinowski worked as an Assistant Professor at Institute of Telecommunication of the Warsaw University of Technology. He completed also 2 year research internship in USA.

He had various roles in his pro publico bono activities including the Member of the Advisory Committee for the Innovation Center of the Warsaw University of Technology, member of the Business Council of the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology, and Vice President of the Polish IT and Telecommunications Chamber.
