GPT commences management of $2.6b ACRT direct real estate

mandate

The GPT Group (‘GPT’) advises that it has commenced management of the $2.6 billion AMP Capital Retail Trust (ACRT) direct real estate mandate, which will be renamed Australian Core Retail Trust.

Cbus Property and UniSuper co-own ACRT, which owns 100 per cent of Pacific Fair Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast and 50 per cent of Macquarie Centre in Sydney. ACRT was recently recognised as the Regional Sector Leader, Oceania Retail, in the 2022 Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) assessment.

This announcement follows GPT commencing property management of Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, one of Australia’s premier retail destinations, earlier this month.
