GPT Group (ASX: GPT) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of GPT Group (‘GPT’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of GPT, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 21 June 2019 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt – The GPT Group (ASX: GPT)

Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, GPT Management Holdings Limited (ABN 113 510 188) and GPT RE Limited (ABN 107 426 504) as responsible entity of the General Property Trust (ARSN 090 110 357) (together, GPT ) requests an immediate trading halt be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange ( ASX ) in respect of GPT's ordinary stapled securities.

For the purposes of Listing Rule 17.1, GPT provides the following information:

1. GPT is seeking the trading halt as it expects to make an announcement to the ASX in connection with a capital raising comprising an institutional placement and a security purchase plan;

2. GPT requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of GPT making an announcement to the market about the completion of the institutional placement and the commencement of trading on 21 June 2019; and

3. GPT is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any other information available at this stage that is relevant to the trading halt.
