Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

The GPT Group (‘GPT’ or ‘Group’) announces that Merran Edwards has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer effective no later than 1 July 2024.

Merran will join GPT from Investa where she has been the Head of Investment Management and Chief Financial Officer. Merran has more than 20 years’ experience in real estate, finance and investment banking and has held various real estate and corporate advisory roles, including as Chief Financial Officer at AMP Capital Real Estate. Merran also previously held roles at UBS in the Investment Banking division and at KPMG in Transaction Services.

Commenting on the appointment, Chief Executive Officer Russell Proutt said: “It is a pleasure to announce the appointment of Merran as GPT’s Chief Financial Officer. Merran’s extensive strategic, financial and real estate experience will be valuable in leading GPT through its next phase of growth to provide long term value for securityholders.”
