Board changes

The GPT Group (‘GPT’ or ‘Group’) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Shane Gannon as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 May 2023.

Mr Gannon is an experienced financial and property executive with over 40 years working with market-leading ASX-listed companies. Mr Gannon is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Endeavour Group and will be stepping down from this executive role in June 2023. Mr Gannon was previously CFO for Mirvac Limited, Goodman Fielder, CSR Limited and Dyno Nobel.

Mr Gannon will stand for election at GPT’s 2023 Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) on 10 May 2023.

Michelle Somerville has advised that she will be retiring from the Board after more than seven years as a Director of GPT. Ms Somerville’s retirement from the Board will become effective at the end of the 2023 AGM.

GPT Chairman, Vickki McFadden, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Shane to the Board as part of our ongoing Board renewal process. Shane’s extensive experience as a CFO in listed companies, in particular from his seven years as CFO of Mirvac Limited, will bring extensive finance and property skills to the Board. Shane’s experience and knowledge will be complementary to the Board’s existing skills mix and we look forward to Shane’s contribution to the Group. I would also like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Michelle who has been a Director of GPT since 2015. Michelle has made a significant contribution to the Board, particularly as Chairman of the Audit Committee and we wish her the very best for her future endeavours.”
