We refer to the article in The Australian concerning Goodman Group’s (Goodman or Group) possible expansion into the US. As indicated in Goodman’s December 2011 half year results announcement, the Group continues to explore expansion opportunities in existing and new geographic markets in conjunction with major customers and capital partners. The Group is currently in discussions regarding expansion into the industrial property market in the United States. The expansion is likely to involve the establishment of a management business with development capability together with a new fund to acquire development assets in prime locations. These discussions are incomplete and should a transaction eventuate an announcement will be made.
