TRADING HALT

The securities of Goodman Group (the “Group”) will be placed in pre-open at the request of the Group, pending the release of an announcement by the Group. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 7 August 2009 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT – GOODMAN GROUP

Goodman Group requests a trading halt for a total of two trading days in respect of its stapled securities (ASX Code GMG) to apply immediately.

The trading halt is requested pending the announcement by Goodman Group of capital management initiatives.

For the purposes of Listing Rule 17.1, Goodman Group provides the following information:

1. the trading halt should remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of trading on Friday, 7 August 2009 or when Goodman Group makes an announcement regarding the capital management initiatives; and

2. Goodman Group is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
