TRADING HALT

The securities of Goodman Group (the “Group”) will be placed in pre-open at the request of the Group, pending the release of an announcement by the Group. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 10 August 2009 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT – GOODMAN GROUP

Goodman Group requests a continuation of the trading halt that is currently applicable to its stapled securities (ASX Code GMG).

The continuation of the trading halt is requested to facilitate the proposed capital management initiatives.

For the purposes of Listing Rule 17.1, Goodman Group provides the following information:

1. the trading halt is necessary to allow the institutional component of the equity raising to take place in an orderly fashion;

2. the trading halt should remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of trading on Monday, 10 August 2009 or when Goodman Group makes an announcement regarding the outcome of the capital management initiatives; and

3. Goodman Group is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
