Goodman Group Board Changes

Goodman Group (Goodman) announces that it has received notice from Non Executive Director, James Hodgkinson, that he will be resigning with effect from 30 September 2011.

Mr Ian Ferrier, Chairman of Goodman Group noted “James has made a significant contribution to Goodman and to its development and growth since joining the Board in early 2003. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank James for bringing his business skills to the benefit of his colleagues on the Board as well as for Securityholders. We are fortunate that he will be able to continue as a Director on Goodman New Zealand, the manager of the NZX listed Goodman Property Trust, and J-Rep Co. Ltd listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.” Mr Ferrier added “James has been very active for many years in the Not for Profit sector and I know that he will continue to make a valuable contribution to the broader community.”

James Hodgkinson commented “I have had a long association with the business and I am confident that it is well placed to grow and execute on its global strategy. My departure is timely for all parties as the Board goes through its renewal process.”

Mr Ferrier noted “Since the changes made to the Board last year, we have continued to review its composition with respect to our current operational strategy. Given our significant international focus, this latest change provides Goodman with the opportunity to diversify the skill set of the Board by introducing a new member with strong global experience and a global network to the Group. We have engaged international search consultants to assist us in this process of making further appointments and hope to be able to make announcements in respect of this in the near future.”
