Goodman Group retirement of Chairman

Date 2 July 2009 Release Immediate

The Board of Goodman Group announces the retirement of its Chairman, David Clarke with effect from today. David has been on a leave of absence since 28 November 2008 whilst he was undergoing medical treatment. It is however very pleasing to report that David has recovered well and is now in good health. David has decided to focus on a smaller number of Board positions, particularly those in the not for profit sector.

David has been Chairman of Goodman Group and its predecessor entities since October 2000 during which time the Group has grown to become one of the world’s largest industrial property groups. The Board thanks David for his enormous contribution to the business during that time and wishes him well for the future.

Ian Ferrier will continue as Acting Chairman.
