Semper Fortis to co-host the World Esports & Gaming Summit

Semper Fortis Esports PLC (AQSE: SEMP), the esports company focused on establishing esports teams, forming brand and technology partnerships, and providing business to business advisory services, is to co-host its first esports and gaming conference.

The World Esports & Gaming Summit will be a 2-day, Asia-focused, virtual event to be held on 23-24 September 2021, organised in partnership with Trescon Global (https://www.tresconglobal.com) and will commence with a start-up competition and competitive esports tournament.

The conference will include workshops which will be sponsored 45 minute sessions covering topics including: Health and Wellness, Brand Positioning in Esports, Licensing and IP Protection.

For the start-up competition, we have partnered with Pegasus Tech Ventures of San Francisco for a pitch competition where start-ups from the gaming space will compete for a spot to showcase themselves at the main Grand Finale event on 12 November in San Francisco and then compete for a US$1,000,000 investment prize (https://www.startupworldcup.io/about-us).

It is intended that the World Esports & Gaming Summit will be the first in a series of esports and gaming conferences that the Company will host or co-host to gain B2B exposure across a number of markets. We anticipate that these conferences will enhance the Company's offering to potential sponsors and clients across its operational pillars and create revenue through dedicated workshops and event sponsors.
