GOLDEN PROSPECT PRECIOUS METALS LIMITED

(the "Company")

ISSUE OF ORDINARY SHARES

The Company announces that, conditional only on Admission becoming effective, it has allotted, by way of an exercise of 14,974 subscription shares, 14,974 new ordinary shares of £0.001 each (the "New Shares") for cash, at a price of 42.30p per share, a premium to the Company's net asset value. The New Shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares.

Applications will be made for the New Shares to be admitted to The International Stock Exchange's Listing and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's SETSqx platform.

Following the issue of the New Shares, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 57,029,305 ordinary shares and 28,473,716 subscription shares, none of which are held in treasury.
