GOLDEN ENERGY OFFSHORE SERVICES AS – UPDATE TO THE RECCOMENDATION BY THE NOMINATION COMMITTEE

Reference is made to the summons dated 10 November 2023 to an extraordinary general meeting of Golden Energy Offshore Services AS (the "Company"). On account of certain inaccuracies in the previous version, the nomination committee would like to update the description of the proposed new board member Atef Abou Merhi:

1. Atef Abou Merhi

Atef Abou Merhi is a managing director of Cysec Regulated Pelagic Partners, where he is also one of the founding members. Abou Merhi holds a BSc (Hons) in Ship and Port Management and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. He has extensive experience in the shipping industry within various segments including Offshore Wind and has also served as a director in other different shipping companies.
