Resignation of Director, Chris Torrey.

As foreshadowed at the last Annual General Meeting of Golden Cross Resources Ltd (ASX code: GCR) , Golden Cross advises that Chris Torrey has resigned as a Director and Chairman of the company with effect from the close of business today. Mr Torrey has been Acting Chairman and then Chairman of Golden Cross since 2008.

The Directors of Golden Cross thank Mr Torrey for his long and extensive contribution to the Company, firstly as an executive and then as a Director and finally as Chairman. They wish him every success with Silver City Minerals, which has a farm in agreement with Golden Cross for its Broken Hill tenement.

The search for a new Chairman at Golden Cross is almost complete. Directors look forward to announcing the appointment before the end of this month.
