Passing of Executive Director

Gold Mountain Limited ( GMN or Company ) advises, with great sadness, that Executive Director, Mr Sin Pyng “Tony” Teng, passed away on the weekend after a battle with cancer.

Mr Teng was one of the founders of Gold Mountain and a much-respected member of the Board. He initially joined the Board in 2014 and served as Managing Director up to November 2020. He was instrumental in the development of the Company including introducing the Wabag Project.

Local members of the Wabag community gathered at Mt Wipi yesterday to hold a ceremony to pay their respects to Tony, a man that they loved and admired.

CEO and Director, Tim Cameron said “Tony has been a steady force in Gold Mountain since its inception, he has always demonstrated his personal commitment and provided a positive energy. I have admired Tony’s strength and determination in his recent battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tony’s wife, his three sons and his family and friends. I know we will all miss him greatly.”
