Issuance of new shares following exercise of warrants

Reference is made to the announcement made by Golar LNG Energy Limited ("Golar

Energy" or "the Company") on December 16, 2010 in respect of the exercise of

warrants granted at the time of the Company's private placement in August 2009.

The total number of warrants exercised on December 15, 2010 was 9,421,440 and

the Company has subsequently issued the same number of shares, at $2.00 per

share, on December 22, 2010.  After the issuance of these new shares, the total

number of shares outstanding will be 237,764,540.
