RESIGNATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Board announces that Mr. ZHANG Kun has tendered his resignation as an Executive Director as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the Company with effect from 9 February 2018.

The board of Directors (the “ Board ”) of New Times Energy Corporation Limited (the “ Company ”) announces that Mr. ZHANG Kun has tendered his resignation as an Executive Director as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the Company with effect from 9 February 2018 in order to devote more time to other business engagements.

Mr. Zhang confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter in respect of his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Zhang for his valuable contribution to the Company during his tenure.
