CHANGE OF COMPANY SECRETARY AND AUTHORISED REPRESENTATIVE

The board of directors (the ‘‘ Board ’’) of New Times Energy Corporation Limited (the “ Company ”) announces that Ms. Law Ka Man (“ Ms. Law ”) resigned as Company Secretary of the Company and ceased to act as an authorised representative of the Company under the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “ Listing Rules ”) with effect from 12 October 2015. Ms. Law confirmed that she has no disagreement with the Board and there are no matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in relation to her resignation.

The Board further announces that Mr. Lai Chi Fung (“ Mr. Lai ”) has been appointed to replace Ms. Law as the Company Secretary and an authorised representative of the Company as required under the Listing Rules with effect from 12 October 2015.

Mr. Lai, aged 35, joined the Company in April 2012 and is currently the Financial Controller of the Company. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honours in Accounting. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has more than 11 years of experience in accounting and auditing.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to express its gratitude to Ms. Law for her valuable contribution to the Company during his tenure of service and express its warmest welcome to Mr. Lai on the new appointment.

As at the date of this announcement, the Board comprises seven Directors, of whom two are Executive Directors, namely Mr. Cheng Kam Chiu, Stewart and Mr. Cheng Ming Kit; one is a Non-Executive Director namely Mr. Heffner, Paul Lincoln; and four are Independent Non-Executive Directors, namely Mr. Wong Man Kong, Peter, Mr. Chan Chi Yuen, Mr. Yung Chun Fai, Dickie and Mr. Chiu Wai On.
