RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR AND APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY CHAIRMAN

The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of New Times Group Holdings Limited (the “Company”) hereby announces that Mr. Chau Oi Ching, Samuel has resigned as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company for personal reason with effect from 4 July 2003. On the same day, Mr. Liu Jicheng has been appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Company.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Chau for his valuable contribution to the Company during his past service with the Company.
