GO internet extends its business to new regions and records 36,410 customers

Gubbio, 2 October 2016 – GO internet records 36,410 customers as of 30 September 2016, + 26% on the same period in 2015. The Company has also extended its business in the Umbria region thanks to the agreement with Enel Open Fiber and has activated the first clients with Fibre to the Home (FTTH) ultrabroadband connection of up to 1 GBPS.

"GO internet has grown and strengthened and has expanded both its network and its customer base in the wireless business. After the launch of the 4G Lte service last year, we are now concentrated on new regions and new business segments thanks the agreement with Enel Open Fiber that, through the FTTH technology, allows us to provide a service which is 10 times faster than the traditional Fiber To The Cabinet. The agreement with Enel Open Fiber represents a great opportunity to grow and diversify our business. We have now the possibility to offer target-based dedicated services and at the same reinforce the presence in essential segments like the business and small business. As for the wireless business, we continue to look at new regions thanks to the opportunity represented by the award of the 3.6-3.8 GHz frequencies" said Flavio Ubaldi, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sales of the Company.
