GO internet records 40,064 customers, +16% on 2016

Gubbio, 5 June 2017 – GO internet S.p.A. records a total of 40,064 customers in both 4G wireless and FTTH segments as of 31 May 2017, +16% on the same period in 2016.

"We are expanding our 4G Lte network in the areas of Reggio Emilia, Parma and Piacenza. We are also strengthening the network in the areas of Bologna, Modena, Forlì-Cesena, Rimini and in the Marche region. As a consequence, the number of customers in the wireless segment is growing. At the same time, we are looking with interest at the developments of the new 5G technology which represents a great opportunity for GO internet since it will use the 3.4-3.8 Ghz frequences, including ours. The FTTH segment is growing as well, thanks to the ultrabroadband service offered in Perugia through the agreement with Open Fiber. Open Fiber is expanding its coverage very quickly and this allows us to look at opportunities in new regions" said Flavio Ubaldi, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sales of the Company.
