GO internet: new opportunities of growth thanks to the agreement with Enel Open Fiber

The company reaches 35,829 customers, +28% on 2015

Gubbio, 5 September 2016 – GO internet is ready to take the new growth opportunities offered by Enel Open Fiber's deployment plan. The company, which has recorded 35,829 customers as of 31 August 2016, +28% on 2015, has recently extended its business to Umbria thanks to the strategic agreement with EOF for the provision of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) ultrabroadband connection of up to 1 GBPS, ten times faster than Fiber to the Cabinet.

"Thanks to the agreement with Enel Open Fiber we have the opportunity to extend our activity to new regions. We have just started our business in Umbria and are looking with interest at other important markets, for instance the Veneto region where EOF has just signed an agreement with the municipality of Venice to install a fiber optic network. We are also continuing to expand our Lte network in Marche and Emilia Romagna and are working to cover 30% of the population of the two regions from the current 15%. Finally we are looking for growth opportunities in the wireless business as well and are following particularly closely the opportunity represented by the award of the 3.6-3.8 GHz frequencies." said Flavio Ubaldi, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sales of the Company.
