GO internet S.p.A. ends the first quarter of 2015 with a further growth in its customer base

25,460 active customers, +43% compared to March 2014

Gubbio, 1st April 2015 – GO internet S.p.A. ended the first quarter of 2015 with a significant growth in its customer base, in line with the performance recorded in the previous months.

GO internet reached 25,460 active customers as of 31st March 2015, 43% more than the number recorded in the same month in 2014.

"We are very pleased with these results that continue to underline our constant growth. Our 4G device is readily available at retail outlets and can autonomously be installed by the customer, with no aid from a technician. This is certainly our strength, in line with the market trend: due to the diffusion of mobile phones, consumers are constantly abandoning landlines because they perceive them as a useless cost. GO's success has also been determined by the strong growth of the internet market: according to the latest Censis-Ucsi report on communication, internet users reached 71% of the Italian population in 2015 (+7.4% compared with 2013), a record high, which is very likely to grow with the evolution of the technology. For instance, the Internet of Things market has great potential and will be the second revolution after the invention of computers," said Flavio Ubaldi, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sales of the Company.
