EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends Item 5.02 of the Current Report on Form 8-K of Globalstar, Inc. (the “Company”), originally filed on November 5, 2015 (the “Initial Filing”). The Initial Filing reported, among other things, the appointment, effective November 3, 2015, of Kenneth M. Young as a Class C director of the Company. This Form 8-K/A is being filed solely to report the Board committee to which Mr. Young was appointed effective April 18, 2016. Other than the additional information supplied by this amendment, no changes are being made to the Initial Filing.

Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements with Certain Officers.

Effective April 18, 2016, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Company appointed Kenneth M. Young as a member of the Board’s Nominating and Governance Committee.
