Update on management arrangements

Further to its previous announcements the Board is pleased to report that the Company has transitioned today, 8 June 2022, to becoming a self-managed investment trust following receipt of approval from the Financial Conduct Authority.

The Company's management agreement with the AIFM, Franklin Templeton Investment Trust Management Limited, has been terminated and its affiliate, Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited has been appointed to act as investment manager in respect of a proportion of the Company's assets, currently representing circa 80 per cent.  of the assets of the Company.

The Board are also pleased to announce that Juniper Partners Limited has been appointed as the Company's company secretary and administrator.

The Company's depositary agreement with Northern Trust Global Services Limited has been terminated and the Company's custodian has changed to JP Morgan Chase Bank, NA.

The registered address of the Company will change to 28 Walker Street, Edinburgh EH3 7HR.

Following a resolution of the Board, the Company intends to change its name to Global Opportunities Trust plc and to update the ticker of the Company to GOT as soon as is practicable.
