Pilbara focussed lithium explorer, Global Lithium Resources Limited ( ASX: GL1 , Global Lithium or the Company ) is pleased to provide an update on its 2021 RC drilling program currently underway at the Company’s wholly owned Marble Bar Lithium Project ( MBLP ), located 150km south east of Port Hedland, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Global Lithium commenced its RC drilling campaign at the MBLP in tandem with the Company’s successful listing onto the ASX earlier this month. The objectives of the drilling program are to undertake in-fill drilling to better understand the distribution of lithium mineralisation at the Archer deposit, and conduct step-out drilling to test for extensions to the Archer deposit along strike and at depth.
The Company is pleased to report that the drilling program, managed by Resource Potentials, is progressing well, with no reported safety, environmental or social incidents (see photo in Figure 1 ). The program is progressing on schedule and within budget, with 24 holes and 4,126 metres drilled to date.
Given the positive progress of the RC program and the ongoing identification and ranking of targets, surrounding the Archer deposit, Global Lithium has elected to extend the RC program to approximately 5,000m (an increase of approximately 1,000m), with all activity being undertaken in the Company’s current approvals footprint ( Figure 2 ).
Global Lithium Managing Director, Jamie Wright said, “ We are pleased with the momentum of this drilling program. The commitment to additional drilling is a strong vote of confidence and will ultimately allow us to test a number of potential extensions and new targets identified as the program has unfolded. I was at site recently to monitor the drilling program and am impressed with the progress to date by our teams in the field, including Resource Potentials and Profile Drilling. ”
“We look forward to the safe completion of our current RC drilling program and receipt of assays which will be used to help design our aggressive follow-on exploration programs.”

The MBLP is situated close to major road infrastructure, with direct links into Port Hedland where bulk commodities, including spodumene concentrate are currently being exported ( Figure 4 ). The MBLP is also located approximately 15km from the town of Marble Bar, which provides ready access to services and skills.
Global Lithium is well funded following its successful $10.0 million IPO completed in May 2021.
